Refund Policy
Last updated 23 October 2026
1.What this covers
This is about one-off donations on vaultdrop. Payments go through PayPal, and so do refunds: the money goes back to the PayPal account, card or bank you paid with. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
2.Donations
Donations are gifts to support the site, so they can’t be refunded. The exceptions: you donated by mistake (wrong amount, or twice) and tell us within 14 days, or someone donated from your account without your permission. Since a donation is a one-off payment that’s complete straight away, the 14-day right to change your mind doesn’t otherwise apply to it.
3.How you get the money back
Refunds go back to the way you paid, through PayPal. We can’t send them to a different account or card. We try to send a refund within 5 working days of agreeing to it, and your bank can take another 5 to 10 working days to show it. You get it in the currency you paid in (your bank decides any exchange rate).
If you open a dispute with your bank or PayPal before talking to us, it can get harder for us to help, and we may pause your account until the dispute is closed. Please email us first. We usually sort things out within a couple of days.
4.Advertising
Ads are sold under separate written agreements with their own cancellation and refund terms. This policy doesn’t cover them.
5.Contact
Billing questions and refund requests: [email protected]. Include the email on your account and, if you have it, the PayPal transaction ID from your receipt.
